One Broken Pair of Glasses Started the Vision.

VA-Vision Appeal began with a problem that founder Melanie Bailey experienced personally. Melanie broke her only pair of eyeglass frames and, at the time, couldn’t afford to purchase another pair.

Instead of simply replacing them, she began looking for a way to protect the frames she already had. She searched for an accessory that could help protect existing eyeglass frames. She couldn’t find what she was looking for.

That search became the inspiration for VA-Vision Appeal Eye Guard.

Melanie began thinking about how an accessory could be designed to fit over an existing pair of eyeglasses.

The idea evolved into a flexible, attachable and detachable frame accessory made with silicone.

The goal was simple:

Create an affordable way for people to add style and another layer of protection around the frames they already own.

What started as a personal problem has grown into a business opportunity focused on eyewear accessories.

VA Eye Guard is being developed as the company’s flagship product.

The flexible accessory is designed to fit over existing eyeglass frames and can be used with or without shades.

With different colors and styles envisioned, VA-Vision Appeal wants to give eyewear wearers more flexibility in how their glasses look and feel.

Current Stage: Prototype - Manufacturing

VA-Vision Appeal is currently working with manufacturing partners as the company develops the Eye Guard and prepares for the next stage of production.

The company is also seeking relationships with investors, retailers, distributors, manufacturers and other strategic partners.

The initial funding goal is $200,000, intended to support areas such as inventory/manufacturing, marketing, operations and contingency needs.
